From the Secret Service to Local Police departments, the contempt shown to the public from the police comes from the top down.
Congress itself is showing contemptible actions in the blatant lies and stupid interference in foreign policy. Why they want to continue the wars, hate and lies must be a question each has to face themselves.
For the people of congress to show such contempt, and then to condemn the actions of the people that are directly under their influence is hypocritical to say t;he least, and smacks of treason.
Congressmen should do their jobs and let Senators and Presidents do theirs,
So far, for the last several decades, the only time Congress has represented the people for the good of the people is when we finally got healthcare. It isn't perfect, but infinitely better than what we had.
Now that we have Republicans back, by hook or crook, they want to steal the healthcare of millions of poor people.
Why would they care? Their healthcare is publicly subsidized, and the best there is - ie paid for by us and better than any you or I would get even with ACA.
My personal belief is we should have universal health care, like every other civilized nation in the world, but Obamacare is much better than none.
And, unlike Congress who definitely does not care, Obama does.
More to the subject, when Congress shows disrespect towards our very essence of governing, why should the police, or secret service for that matter, not take a cue from them and be the bullies and thugs that Republicans have become in the past six years?
They have no fallout, neither the secret service the police or politicians. No matter how the come by their jobs, lying and cheating being the style of the moment, it would seem to be impossible to fire a cop or a republican. Just like sand, they keep shifting around and sliding through. Not like sand, tho. More like slime.
If they hate our government so much they want to destroy it, what makes them different from terrorists?
If they hate our people so much they want to jail, beat or kill us all, what makes them different from any other terrorists?
Why do Republicans hate poor people so much, many of their base are dirt poor. If you live in a long term Republican controlled state, chances are you are one of them.
Why are you voting for the very people who took your jobs, your homes, threw you on the street, then vilified you for being broke and homeless, Who spit on you for being dirty when you have no water to wash with. Who laugh at you and set upon you because you are hungry and tired and have no place to sleep.
The homeless would be much better at running the country. Any homeless. Just start rounding up, what, 6 or 7 hundred or so, make them congresspeople and senators, and replace the ones we have. They certainly could do no worse, and 10 to 1 they would do a much better job.
I can hear you now,"What about the mentally ill on the streets?"
What about the mentally ill in our government?
Another objection "What about the drunks and drug addicts on the streets?"
Again, what about the drunks and drug addicts in our government?
"But they wouldn't know what they were doing!"
You would be surprised at how intelligent homeless people are. And, look at the people you assume know what they are doing. The politicians we have in now are completely clueless, or completely corrupt, take your choice.
Still believe homeless would do a better job.
If not, vote them out in 6 years, and put in a new batch. Lord knows, we probably won't run out.
If we do, because of the policies of the homeless, we can always put politicians back in,
I'm sure in no time at all we would have homeless people to put back into government.

Channel 7, Denver Biased toward Lies
Channel7 news at Denver misinforms and spreads myths again. One might call it lying, The GOP call it not factual.
Again, they have shown their biased reporting by saying the college kid who was partying jumped off the balcony because of marijuana. They neglected entirely the fact, reported very quickly at the end of the story when it first came out, that he was also drinking alcohol, and who knows what else. The toxicology report has yet to come out.
In an unrelated story, a man tragically shot his wife who had called 911 for help. Her husband was hallucinating, and there was a gun in the house. She was afraid. She mentioned he had eaten a medicated candy. He also was on prescription drugs for at least depression. Drugs that have known side effects of hallucinations. Once again, it was very, very quickly, 2 or 3 seconds worth, mentioned that he was taking other drugs. That was the only time these drugs were mentioned in any of the followup stories. From that point on, only the edible marijuana was mentioned.
They also said something about overdosing on marijuana.
You don't overdose on marijuana. It makes you go to sleep. You cannot overdose, this is a myth that has been debunked over and over.
Yet, there it is, on Channel 7 News, Denver. An out and out lie about marijuana.
Is it any wonder people are totally misinformed as to this and so many other issues, when the news insists on misinforming, misleading and outright lying to us?
Another instance of Channel 7 News misleading and misinformation... there was a fire of unknown causes, it is still being investigated. Channel 7 comes on and says it could be a fire from the production of hash oil. They don't say, it could be from natural gas..there were supposed to be explosions, and that is also a possibility, they didn't say it could be a fire from innumerable causes. The only conclusion they have is that it could be a fire from hash oil. If they don't know what the cause is, and it is rather difficult for them to say they do, as the experts don't know..investigation pending..why in the world would they do their best to make people believe hash oil production was the cause? It could have been pipe bombs made by the news crew at channel 7 news, too, but they don't say that, now, do they?
Isn't it time for the lies to stop? Who does it benefit to keep hemp and medical marijuana, recreational for that matter, illegal? Who are the companies and corporations that are so afraid of it they use their influence to keep the American people misinformed? What do they have to gain, or to loose for that matter?
I won't go into that, there is a huge supply of information on the web about the criminalization of the cannabis plant. It certainly was not for our welfare, and we need to fight these people any way we can.

Post Office
Something else to boggle your mind. The government set up a scenario to dismantle the Post Office by forcing them to fund pensions for over 70 years into the future.

Pipeline - Pipedream
How does building a pipeline across some our most vulnerable areas in the USA, carrying some of the dirtiest oil, to the refineries and selling it on the global market to the highest bidder improve our energy independence?
How can there be any justification of putting our watershed at risk to these companies whom have proven over and over they are irresponsible and incapable of safely providing oil on land or on the oceans?
Why would we even desire to stay with the 100+ year old energy system when we have so many alternatives?
Even Ex-Pres Bill Clinton will tell you, and HAS told you that just wind power from North Dakota would provide twenty-five percent of our nations energy needs. Why in the world would we want to destroy our world for the profit of a few gas compainies?
If you say this is a job creator, you could be right. It probably would create around 5,000 temporary jobs.
Maybe more with the security it would require to keep sabotuers at bay, and cleanup crews to try to contain the ineventable spills and leakage which will nevertheless pollute our groundwater. Leaving millions of people without clean water to drink, irrigate Your food crops, and water livestock that is also food.
In whose universe does this make sense?
In the same universe that improving our infrastructure, creating an energy grid to carry the vast untapped natural, renewable resources through out our nation to power the homes, businesses and vehicles that we all ready have the technology for?
Who is in favor of this destroying form of energy? Who will profit from it? Who wants the pipeline?
Who is trying to destroy our earth, home of all of us?
Anyone say Big Oil, Big Gas, Drill, baby Drill -- Spill, baby,Spill??
Who are your representatives voting for? Whom do they represent?
Not ME.

Republican Platform
Are we watching the policies, or listening to the hype?
So far, the republicans and the Democrats have shown some of their true colors. As have the T-Partiers. It is difficult to believe.
What is totally odd, is that apparently the Republican voter wants their representatives to :
A- restrict rights of women ( according to Governor Rick Perry of Texas, this is an emergency legislation, to be acted on before jobs bills can be considered)
B- bust up the unions ( a matter of budgetary concern, according to Governor Wilson of Wisconsin, and, apparently all of the Republican officeholders in Wisconsin. Which, for some unfathomable reason were voted in. This was a budgetary concern, until the Democrats refused to participate in the vote. Then it was decided in order to strip people of their constitutional rights, it ‘became’ non-budgetary. And was passed anyway. That is Real representation. Congratulations on your apparently voted in representation, Wisconsin.)
C- Create a health care system that will allow you to become sick - but within limits. Via the ‘voucher system” you get so many vouchers to pay a PRIVATE Insurance company for insurance. Any price they want to charge you after that, you pay for. (This will help to weed out the very sickly, and very poor. They will not have any access to medical treatment, so they will most likely die. The thought behind this? If you are not wealthy enough to buy insurance, and too sick to work, you should die and take the burden of your poor, sick self off society. In this case, the society of the well to do.)
D- Cut funding for the schools. This is related to B. We can save oodles of money by only partially funding our schools. After all, if you educate the populace to much, they may just realize that they have an absolute right to vote, to choose what they want done with their money the government has collected from them in the form of taxes and fees. We have a right to have a say in how they spend our money, whether it is stuck in a “rainy day” Fund or in the Governors personal ‘stimulus fund’ that no one can look at or audit. Or is it just Governor Rick Perry of Texas that has his own, personal, hands off slush fund while the state of Texas is 27 billion in debt?
E-Do away with unemployment insurance - if you are without a job, you should not just stay at home sucking up that fabulous unemployment insurance. After all, it pays about 2/3 of what you got at your regular job. If you really want a job, you can always get one at the local greasy spoon. If you cannot cook, wait tables or wash dishes (for less than min wage. Often these jobs go to illegal’s who get paid under the table. That’s totally good for our country, huh?) not to worry. Aluminum is being bought for 23cents a pound. Pick up cans.
F- Do away with rights to unimpeded travel. - don’t even mention the airlines, even driving down the road, you are subject to be stopped at any time and asked for your drivers license, registration, proof of insurance. Then you are grilled about where you are going, where you have been, and why. After which you are interrogated about the possibilities of your hauling meth, or coke, or some other sort of narcotic. When you assure the police officer that no, indeed you are not, you are then asked if it is alright for them to search your car. This is after they have- looked through the back window, the side window, the drivers window, and more than likely, stuck their head in to look around. Just what kind of search do they need to be doing? How bad are the American people, anyway? If you happen to know your rights, which everyone should, but many do not ( see item D) and tell them no way, they proceed to detain you and send for a doggy officer to search anyway. Where do you see a problem with this? After all, it is called being ‘tough’ on crime.
G- Believe that waterboarding and other tortures are not torture if they use them. They also mistakenly believe that valuable information is gleaned by this tactic, despite a multitude of evidence it does not.

H Lower tax rates for corporations and the wealthy.
E Keep giving subsidies to companies that are profiting billions and billions of dollars a year off of the American People.
Need more? With these people in office, there is surely more to come.

#Wisconsin #Union vs. #GOP?
As it turns out, this is not really about Wisconsin, not especially about the Unions, either. This is about the control of the working population in the United States of America.
The land of the free…it appears is only free when you are very rich.
A lot of people look down on the union, blaming unions for making prices higher, for the manufacturing to move overseas to seek cheaper workers. It would seem that many people do not understand that if someone doesn’t stand up for the working people, especially unions, all people who work and earn any wage at all are at risk. The reason you have a living wage now is not because of the companies good heart, not because management saw that you and your children had to work sixteen hours a day for food and shelter, not because they did not know.
The companies do not care. The company is only in business to make profit, if it comes at the expense of your life, too bad, so sad, there are more starving people where you come from.
The company does not even care if it is making profit. It want to make more, companies are greedy by their very nature. If they can make a penny more off you, they do not care if you go without heat. Companies have no conscience.
The only way to keep companies and corporations from exploiting all peoples is to be united. The only way to fight money is to overpower it with people. The only way to secure your rights, what few we have left, is to protest, to strike, to stop work. If you want that to be successful, you must get more than one person or two involved. You must have thousands. Hence, a union to protect peoples rights.
Why have we let the powers that be in power? How could have so many so-called sane people voted for them? I know in our case, we did not. But the voting machines say we do. The machines were proven to be rigged before, what would make Americans believe it hasn’t been so again.. What they got by with once, they will attempt to do so again. These are the people that are running and ruining our lives.
What is absolutely amazing is that so many people are still so stupid that they believe what these paid mercenaries are telling them. Rather like the old adage, if you tell someone something long enough, and with enough emphasis, they will believe you, even when it is patently obvious it is against their own best interests.
Well, we had traitors in the Revolutionary war that sided with England. Now, we have traitors in the civil war with the Rich Autocrats, would be dictators who are well on their way.
It started with Reagan, and continues to this day.
When are Americans going to wise up and say no more?

Polls...Polls
How can you believe the polls?
Why does the So-called News media put so much emphasis on polls?
You can't pick something that is not on the poll, if there is not an answer you like, the most you can do is not answer.
I just started to take a poll on CNN, and there is no "None of the above"
No wonder they are able to lie to us. When you set up a poll to say only what you want it to say, that is not really a fair poll, now is it.
There are many questions that deserve an answer, but you do not have the answers on the poll, you just have the options that will steer people into saying what you want.
Why do you even have a poll?
Is it just to convince people who watch your program to vote the way you want them to? To think the way you want them to? Without any thought about anyone who may have a better idea than you do?
Who died and made the poll King?
The poll has no clothes.
Cheryl Burke, American Idol, Lauren Alaina, Girl Scout Cookies and Chris Medina ... No wonder our country is in such bad shape when the health of the economy, jobs... all the 'be afraid' factors and 'be concerned' factors out there, it is amazing that these phrases are the top trending searches.
There are protests in Egypt, and many other places, wars all over the world, our own and others. We have floods, snowstorms, drought and disaster
We wonder just who won American Idol this week?
Economic collapse, political murders, suicide bombers, government misconducts...ours and others. We have countries splitting, countries evolving, governments devolving.
Well...just what did they put in the Girl Scout Cookies that makes them bad for you?
Unemployment is rampant, banks are foreclosing right and left on people, making them homeless, jobs are in the dumper, making people homeless, the mental institutions are already closed (thank you very much, Mr. Regan) and we are making laws that the homeless are now not only homeless, but "You cannot stay here!" You are now homeless, and jobless.
By Republican standards, now you are worthless. But they will sell you a gun.
Well, well, well....just look at that Cheryl Burke. Look who has written a book now.
With all the attention we pay to our politics and our country, is it any wonder we can be led down the garden path by all the cable news networks. Do we REALLY want our country to be run this way? Do we REALLY want to deny health insurance for transplant patience? Do we REALLY want our mental health institutions shut down?
Do we REALLY want to encourage class warfare amongst our citizens?
It doesn't matter what we REALLY want. This is what we have. Right here, Right now.
Way to go, America. Way to go USA.
