Always amazing when you see what the GOP is up to:
Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush Totaled 672 Executive Orders. Obama has 182. Boehner's Lawsuit Is Frivolous
The war on poverty has become a war against the poor people in poverty. Never mind who put them into poverty in the first place. There is also no word on public officials taking drug and alcohol tests. When you are responsible for the well being of millions and you are being paid with taxpayers dollars, would it not behoove you to be drug and alcohol tests? IF not WHY not?
The Latest State To Make Poor People Pass Drug Tests
Truly, is there any other religion that would get away with what the so-called Christians are?
If the Hobby Lobby people were Muslim, would SCOTUS have ruled differently? Would the complaint even be heard?
How is being an overbearing Christian any different than being an overbearing Islamist?
When did we decide we wanted religion to run (and ruin) our country?

Health?
The new health care plan for Texas under Governor Rick Perry stinks.
Not only has this stupid idiot cut off funding for Planned Parenthood - one of the only places low income women can access health care, he has totally screwed up Medicaid for all Texans who need health care.
By his actions, all federal funding for Womens health care has been abolished.
Care like screening and treatments for people who have cancer. People who are not female. People who need all kinds of care, have worked all their lives, and are now deemed unnecessary because they have worked so much they have become disabled. Now that you can no longer provide a service, you are no longer viable to keep alive? Now that your work life is over, just dump you in the ditch and let you die?
How is this going to work out for the people you treat this way? Or do you mean to foster terrorism? Or are YOU the terrorist?
No matter What your opinion about what goes on in other peoples uteri, No matter What religion you pretend to follow, there will come a time when you have gone to far.
Governor Rick Perry may have just reached that goal.
Governor Rick Perry is just asking for a revolt, by his revolting attitudes and , worse, his revolting laws.
He and all Republicans purporting to be Christians should actually READ THE BIBLE he supposedly follows.
Where does Jesus tell his followers to dump the poor and disabled into the ditch and cover them with dirt before they die?
Where does it say in the Bible that abortion is wrong, or that The Government has any business at all in a woman womb?
To say these people are Christians is so wrong. How can people stupidly follow these disgusting politicians? How is it that so many so called preachers can dupe so many people? How can they call themselves men of God when it is so very, very obvious they are not. These false preachers are of the Devil. and shall reap what they sow. \
Don't be lazy. If you call yourself a Christian, at least read the New Testament. At LEAST Know what you are talking about. Don't let someone else interpret for you. You can read. You have a brain. If you seek this source to discriminate against other people, at least know what it says.
Rick Perry, Governor of Texas, You are a murderer. by your policies, you are killing people who are already alive, are breathing the breath of life, have done their job without stealing from you.
You will face God sometime.
It could not be soon enough for the people you are killing in your state of Texas.
You are an instrument of the Devil.

Held Hostage
America is being held hostage by the very people we allowed to get into office.
Why are they here?
Democrats did not vote in the midterm elections.
This has been the norm, so the media has assured us. The mid term elections are not important.
All politicians are the same.
Why vote?
Does what has happened so far since midterms answer that?
Do you want to lose the rights that we have fought so hard for the last hundreds + years?
Do you agree with the legislation that is being passed across the country against women, against poor people, against our children.
Did you realize, when you couldn't be bothered to vote, that you would lose Social Security, Medicare, education, research, medicaid, food stamps, unemployment insurance - those programs which you support your whole working life.
Now if you cannot work, those are the very programs the Republicans and T party wants to ruin, destroy, end. The ones that are supposed to be the Americans safety net. The net they want to cut/slash/destroy.
Whose fault is this?
Who did not vote in the last election?
Do You hear us now?

Republican Platform
Are we watching the policies, or listening to the hype?
So far, the republicans and the Democrats have shown some of their true colors. As have the T-Partiers. It is difficult to believe.
What is totally odd, is that apparently the Republican voter wants their representatives to :
A- restrict rights of women ( according to Governor Rick Perry of Texas, this is an emergency legislation, to be acted on before jobs bills can be considered)
B- bust up the unions ( a matter of budgetary concern, according to Governor Wilson of Wisconsin, and, apparently all of the Republican officeholders in Wisconsin. Which, for some unfathomable reason were voted in. This was a budgetary concern, until the Democrats refused to participate in the vote. Then it was decided in order to strip people of their constitutional rights, it ‘became’ non-budgetary. And was passed anyway. That is Real representation. Congratulations on your apparently voted in representation, Wisconsin.)
C- Create a health care system that will allow you to become sick - but within limits. Via the ‘voucher system” you get so many vouchers to pay a PRIVATE Insurance company for insurance. Any price they want to charge you after that, you pay for. (This will help to weed out the very sickly, and very poor. They will not have any access to medical treatment, so they will most likely die. The thought behind this? If you are not wealthy enough to buy insurance, and too sick to work, you should die and take the burden of your poor, sick self off society. In this case, the society of the well to do.)
D- Cut funding for the schools. This is related to B. We can save oodles of money by only partially funding our schools. After all, if you educate the populace to much, they may just realize that they have an absolute right to vote, to choose what they want done with their money the government has collected from them in the form of taxes and fees. We have a right to have a say in how they spend our money, whether it is stuck in a “rainy day” Fund or in the Governors personal ‘stimulus fund’ that no one can look at or audit. Or is it just Governor Rick Perry of Texas that has his own, personal, hands off slush fund while the state of Texas is 27 billion in debt?
E-Do away with unemployment insurance - if you are without a job, you should not just stay at home sucking up that fabulous unemployment insurance. After all, it pays about 2/3 of what you got at your regular job. If you really want a job, you can always get one at the local greasy spoon. If you cannot cook, wait tables or wash dishes (for less than min wage. Often these jobs go to illegal’s who get paid under the table. That’s totally good for our country, huh?) not to worry. Aluminum is being bought for 23cents a pound. Pick up cans.
F- Do away with rights to unimpeded travel. - don’t even mention the airlines, even driving down the road, you are subject to be stopped at any time and asked for your drivers license, registration, proof of insurance. Then you are grilled about where you are going, where you have been, and why. After which you are interrogated about the possibilities of your hauling meth, or coke, or some other sort of narcotic. When you assure the police officer that no, indeed you are not, you are then asked if it is alright for them to search your car. This is after they have- looked through the back window, the side window, the drivers window, and more than likely, stuck their head in to look around. Just what kind of search do they need to be doing? How bad are the American people, anyway? If you happen to know your rights, which everyone should, but many do not ( see item D) and tell them no way, they proceed to detain you and send for a doggy officer to search anyway. Where do you see a problem with this? After all, it is called being ‘tough’ on crime.
G- Believe that waterboarding and other tortures are not torture if they use them. They also mistakenly believe that valuable information is gleaned by this tactic, despite a multitude of evidence it does not.

Evangelical Christians
So disgusting, that it is difficult to write about.
Who are these so called evangelical Christians? What would Jesus say about them?
When would he have backed the ideology that the Republicans endorse?
Would our Lord have said that taking the food out of the mouths of babes is a good idea? Wasn’t it Him who said harm not one hair on a child’s head? Guess he wasn’t talking about feeding, clothing or educating them. Not to mention any kind of health care.
Still, the Republicans claim to be Christian.
Lets see.. Would a true Christian take money from the poor and give it to the rich? What is all this bellyaching from the wealthy right about giving up some of their wealth to the people whose backs they made their wealth from? Would that not more closely follow the Lords word? If he asks you for his cloak give him also your coat? was that just meant for the poor people to give their last rags to the rich?
I kind of doubt it.
If you would read the Bible instead of going to some Palin Tea Party do dad, or a Republican bull shitter where they spout they are the Christian right, the Moral Majority. Excuse me, I see nothing at all moral about condemning people to death so you can have a bigger CPAC. What is moral about subsidizing the oil and gas companies and cutting the food we give to our children. What is moral about building a bridge to nowhere and cutting school funding so drastically that we must close some of them. What is moral about renting yourself your own house for ten thousand dollars a month and charging it to the taxpayers? What is moral about taking off to south America to see your mistress instead of running the state you were elected to run. Just what is it that is moral about the Republicans?
They do not even stand for real people. They stand for big businesses. They are not people. You cannot put a corporation in jail. Corporations do not get cancer. Corporations do not take vacations. Why, why why would people ever, ever vote Republican, or even think about it? Unless, of course, they are not a Christian.
The Republicans take the Lords name in vain when they use it for propaganda.
