Republicans -- again? Really?

Republicans in congress are working on something big, these days.
No, not a jobs bill.
In spite of all the rhetoric, Republicans have not brought up one jobs bill the whole time they have had control of Congress.
Not infrastructure.
Wouldn't want people to have safe bridges, they got by before the bridges fell down, they can do it after.
No. Not even deficit reduction.
The Republicans are working on an abortion bill. Again. They want to stop tax funding for abortions. Again.
The law against government funding of abortions, passed in 1976, still on the books, still a law, never not been a law, is not good enough for Republicans. They have passed, or attempted to pass the same measures three (3) times.
Never mind that it is already a law.
Never mind that joblessness is rampant. That our infrastructure is crumbling. That our schools are failing in every way and their budget is being slashed.
They don't care if you cannot feed your family.
They don't care if you lose your home to shady business practices and deregulated banks.
They don't care if YOU live or die.
The only thing they care about at this time in the nations great needs that we have is how to restrict a females right to choose.
Which means (to them) closing as many women's health care facilities as possible.
Never mind if it means millions of poor and working -now not working - women will not be able to get basic medical care, such as blood pressure tests, such as cholesterol testing - such as birth control information. Guess birth control is, in their minds, abortion also.
When are we going to realise that these people in congress are only there for one thing?
To protect the 1% of the wealthy - their owners.
Oh, yes, as they have shown, by their actions, by the bills they have brought up, and the issues they have voted on, and the way they have voted, they want to be women. With a lot of children. Or, without having sex.
The way they are acting in Congress is a national disgrace. Yet, for some reason there are still people who believe they are working for them.
The Republicans presently in our government only work for one group of Americans.
Give you a hint.
It ain't you.

Get involved. See what your pet Republican Senator or Congressman is REALLY doing to you.
Go to the government website, and see what they voted on which bill they voted yes and which no on.
They have passed 13 pieces of legislation since they took office. They have cost us millions of dollars in their totally obstructionist, unnecessary political maneuverings.
They want to make Obama a one term president.
If they screw around and ruin the American government, manufacturing, farming, air, water, people. they do not care.
You are not important to them.
You will vote for them again anyway.
Because, in their mind, you are just the poor stupid sheep that always voted Republican. Even if it was Clearly NOT in your, or the countries best interests.
So, enjoy the time in the ditch the Republicans manufactured for you, because they are doing their best to push the country deeper and deeper in the hole.
AND, thanks to all the Republicans who don't have time to research the FACTS for themselves, rather watch it on the main stream media that is owned by the multi billionaires, you still vote for these Zeros.
Please be an informed voter. Its not hard, just do a little research.
Please.
At least KNOW what the people you voted for are doing and have done. It is in black and white.
Just the facts, mam.

Republicans Debt

Republicans Debt

We are finally in some sort of crisis.
It is supposed to be the debt.

Used to be you knew when someone said “I owe a debt” , you knew what they were talking about.

Now we hear that it is Our fault, and that the Democrats and the Obama administration owe a huge amount of money that they seem to want the rich to pay for.

When did this debt occur?

Why, when the Bush administration made deep cuts to the super wealthy tax revenues, put us into two wars, made policies to ship even more jobs overseas, deregulated the banks and wall street paper shufflers as to give them an advantage over the lower classes of people so they could steal their money.

All legal of course. They passed laws to make it so.

Now they want to further push their strange agenda to cut any help to people whom they have caused to lose their jobs, lose their homes, lose their lifelong savings.

Republicans want to raise retirement age at a time when there are no jobs to be had, they want to raise the birthrate by interfering in your most basic right to privacy and choice, they want to contaminate the air we breathe, ground we walk on, water we drink with pollutants that they say are necessary to keep money flowing into their pockets.
For some unknown reason, the people of America keep on electing these irresponsible people.

These people who tried to do away completely, and did do damage to the health bill we all so desperately need. You don’t need their help? Not until you are denied insurance, or you pay only to find you are not covered by your insurance for one reason or another.
Not until your boss tells you if you can’t work for the experience to be gained, you have no job, or you can work for half minimum wage.
Not until you try to get unemployment and are denied because your employer said you quit, and they take their work over yours.
Not until your house is padlocked with you in it.
Not until you are on the street.
Then, all of a sudden it is not the republicans fault, it is the fault of the present administration in the white house.
Never mind that the republicans ran up bills they now do not want to pay for, and even more somehow try to blame the Obama administration or the American people for owing. They spend it, then yell it is not their fault.
Never mind the republicans have obstructed every move the present administration has tried to do to assist the normal wage earner, who, by the way MADE the money for the rich in the first place.

Never mind their single mindedness when it comes to destroying the middle class is out in the open.
These people, who have brought out country to the brink of bankruptcy by their policies of making the poor pay three times as much taxes as the rich, giving multibillion dollar companies and people even more of taxpayers money, starting wars with countries that pose no threat to us and are doing us no harm.

These people who have brought us this wonderful opportunity to experience the poverty that so many American middle class families have held in distain, that have provided the opportunity to people who said homeless people chose to be homeless, so why help them, to experience homelessness first hand. These people have provided the middle class elite a chance to experience at least some of the hopelessness and helplessness of people who have had the misfortune to lose their homes, jobs, health and well being at the hands of the policies that the ‘majority’ of Americans have been voting for lately.

How do you like being in their situation? How do you like being vilified and looked down upon? Called no good, lazy uppity, druggies, stupid? How do you like being classed as the people who are a drain on society?
If you haven’t gotten to the coveted homeless stage. Don’t worry, with the help of our Republican overlords, you will.
And please, don’t remember how you got there. After all, if the Republicans deny it was them who put you there, the really didn’t mean to be ‘factual’, and you voted for them. So you must want them to make you homeless. By the way, homeless people cannot vote.

God Bless America.

Evangelical Christians

So disgusting, that it is difficult to write about.
Who are these so called evangelical Christians? What would Jesus say about them?
When would he have backed the ideology that the Republicans endorse?

Would our Lord have said that taking the food out of the mouths of babes is a good idea? Wasn’t it Him who said harm not one hair on a child’s head? Guess he wasn’t talking about feeding, clothing or educating them. Not to mention any kind of health care.
Still, the Republicans claim to be Christian.
Lets see.. Would a true Christian take money from the poor and give it to the rich? What is all this bellyaching from the wealthy right about giving up some of their wealth to the people whose backs they made their wealth from? Would that not more closely follow the Lords word? If he asks you for his cloak give him also your coat? was that just meant for the poor people to give their last rags to the rich?

I kind of doubt it.
If you would read the Bible instead of going to some Palin Tea Party do dad, or a Republican bull shitter where they spout they are the Christian right, the Moral Majority. Excuse me, I see nothing at all moral about condemning people to death so you can have a bigger CPAC. What is moral about subsidizing the oil and gas companies and cutting the food we give to our children. What is moral about building a bridge to nowhere and cutting school funding so drastically that we must close some of them. What is moral about renting yourself your own house for ten thousand dollars a month and charging it to the taxpayers? What is moral about taking off to south America to see your mistress instead of running the state you were elected to run. Just what is it that is moral about the Republicans?

They do not even stand for real people. They stand for big businesses. They are not people. You cannot put a corporation in jail. Corporations do not get cancer. Corporations do not take vacations. Why, why why would people ever, ever vote Republican, or even think about it? Unless, of course, they are not a Christian.

The Republicans take the Lords name in vain when they use it for propaganda.

We are condemning our children

We are condemning them to a lifetime of failure.

We are condemning them to a world full of uneducated, illiterate children

We are condemning them to poverty

We are condemning them to jails

We are condemning them to a hopeless future filled with all the wrong things.

We are condemning them to a life without. Music. Art. History.

You think it is bad now? Wait until the budget cuts really kick in. there is a budget shortfall built into the system already. Years ago the budget was sabotaged by the Republicans governing Texas at that time.

This shortfall will only get worse.

Why?

The people in power are refusing to pay their taxes, sucking up as much ad they can of the taxpayers money in the form of subsidies, polluting our atmosphere, our water, our earth for the almighty dollar. Ant we don’t even get any of the dollars.

They are reserved for the very richest.

But that is another subject.

Our children are not getting the funding they need let alone the funding they deserve.

We can fund the bridge across the lake to literally nowhere, but we have to cut funding for our children?

We can spend millions to refurbish the Governors’ mansion, but we have to close schools?

We can pay oil companies to take our money and raise our prices, but we cannot have music or the arts in our classrooms?

We subsidize the power plants to take our money and pollute our atmosphere. We give them billions of dollars for research, and the best they can come up with it to ‘bury the gas underground?’ and ‘how to make money off of filthy coal without people knowing that filthy coal is lignite”

They make quite enough profit off our backs as it is.

Take away all their subsidies.

They don’t need them. They use them to buy our politicians and to repress our children and us.

They use them to keep us in slavery.

They use them to imprison those who do not agree with them. They use them to condemn to death people who need transplants.

Why are we allowing this? The people who live in this country absolutely can afford to take care of its children, its seniors, its disabled.

Not while we are supporting the filthy rich at the same time.

The Republicans rejoiced when they defeated the Democrats tax bill. The one that would raise taxes on the very wealthy 3%, remember, all you people who voted Republican?

This was such a huge victory.

For the super rich.

It was certainly not a victory for our children.

It was not a victory for the seniors.

It was not a victory for the disabled.

Who’s fault is it?

That is obvious.

Does it matter?

Not at this time.

What does?

Who are we going to support? Who are we going to vote for?

Our children, our grandchildren?

Or the politicians who got us here by selling us out to the mega rich, while micromanaging our personal lives, deregulating businesses so they could screw over their customers better, and then believing we are so stupid that we will believe it when they say they are for ‘small government’.

This is a lie.

The only ‘small government’ they are for is the government that has just overseen the systematic looting of the American people for the last 50 years of Republican agenda.

Wake up, people. Or your children just may not.
