Republicans Debt
We are finally in some sort of crisis.
It is supposed to be the debt.
Used to be you knew when someone said “I owe a debt” , you knew what they were talking about.
Now we hear that it is Our fault, and that the Democrats and the Obama administration owe a huge amount of money that they seem to want the rich to pay for.
When did this debt occur?
Why, when the Bush administration made deep cuts to the super wealthy tax revenues, put us into two wars, made policies to ship even more jobs overseas, deregulated the banks and wall street paper shufflers as to give them an advantage over the lower classes of people so they could steal their money.
All legal of course. They passed laws to make it so.
Now they want to further push their strange agenda to cut any help to people whom they have caused to lose their jobs, lose their homes, lose their lifelong savings.
Republicans want to raise retirement age at a time when there are no jobs to be had, they want to raise the birthrate by interfering in your most basic right to privacy and choice, they want to contaminate the air we breathe, ground we walk on, water we drink with pollutants that they say are necessary to keep money flowing into their pockets.
For some unknown reason, the people of America keep on electing these irresponsible people.
These people who tried to do away completely, and did do damage to the health bill we all so desperately need. You don’t need their help? Not until you are denied insurance, or you pay only to find you are not covered by your insurance for one reason or another.
Not until your boss tells you if you can’t work for the experience to be gained, you have no job, or you can work for half minimum wage.
Not until you try to get unemployment and are denied because your employer said you quit, and they take their work over yours.
Not until your house is padlocked with you in it.
Not until you are on the street.
Then, all of a sudden it is not the republicans fault, it is the fault of the present administration in the white house.
Never mind that the republicans ran up bills they now do not want to pay for, and even more somehow try to blame the Obama administration or the American people for owing. They spend it, then yell it is not their fault.
Never mind the republicans have obstructed every move the present administration has tried to do to assist the normal wage earner, who, by the way MADE the money for the rich in the first place.
Never mind their single mindedness when it comes to destroying the middle class is out in the open.
These people, who have brought out country to the brink of bankruptcy by their policies of making the poor pay three times as much taxes as the rich, giving multibillion dollar companies and people even more of taxpayers money, starting wars with countries that pose no threat to us and are doing us no harm.
These people who have brought us this wonderful opportunity to experience the poverty that so many American middle class families have held in distain, that have provided the opportunity to people who said homeless people chose to be homeless, so why help them, to experience homelessness first hand. These people have provided the middle class elite a chance to experience at least some of the hopelessness and helplessness of people who have had the misfortune to lose their homes, jobs, health and well being at the hands of the policies that the ‘majority’ of Americans have been voting for lately.
How do you like being in their situation? How do you like being vilified and looked down upon? Called no good, lazy uppity, druggies, stupid? How do you like being classed as the people who are a drain on society?
If you haven’t gotten to the coveted homeless stage. Don’t worry, with the help of our Republican overlords, you will.
And please, don’t remember how you got there. After all, if the Republicans deny it was them who put you there, the really didn’t mean to be ‘factual’, and you voted for them. So you must want them to make you homeless. By the way, homeless people cannot vote.
God Bless America.
