What are we thinking?

Over the last few years, we have seen what Republicans have done and not done with the offices we have entrusted to them.
We have seen the erosion of health care.
We have seen attacks on the middle class.
We have seen attacks on the workers, on the poor, on women.
We have seen them spend time trying to cheat, steal and lie their way out of the disgraceful way the 'news' is skewed.
We have seen them spend more, raise our deficit more, try to derail our government.
We have seen them take over elected officials posts and impose dictatorships.
We have seen them ignore laws that are there for voters protection.
We have seen them pass laws that suppress the vote.
We have seen them equate money with speech.
We have seen them do everything except support the rights and dignities of the American people.
We have seen them advocate for pollution.
We have seen them obstruct any and everything the duly elected President of the United States of America had tried to do to get us out of the ditch they put us in.
We have seen how bigoted and small minded they are.
We have learned they cannot read.
We have learned they are totally prejudiced against people of color - any color but white - women of all races - and all poor people.
We have learned they want to destroy our schools.
We have learned they want to destroy our seniors.
This is not fiction. This is fact. We can see this and the effects of these actions that have been taken throughout the USA as policy after policy has taken shape in state after state.
These people are not working in our best interests, the oath to work for the American people has been ignored, while some oath not to raise taxes made to someone who does not matter is - so it would seem - held dear.
However, even this is not true.
They have no problem trying to take everything poor people have  from them.
They have a BIG problem taking just a little from people who are so wealthy they would not even notice it.
These things and much more have the Republicans who are in office now  done.
 Even some so-called ;'Blue dog" Democrats - who are Republicans turned Democrat to get into office - have supported these harmful and extreme actions.
How would anyone in America support these people? Unless you wished America to fail.
The people that attack the USA used to be called terrorists.
How is it that people in government that attack the USA are not called exactly what they are - terrorists?
